Evaluations

Speakeasy BKLYN will complete a comprehensive speech and language evaluation upon request. Information on birth history, diagnoses, medical history, developmental milestones and other relevant family history will be collected before the evaluation. Evaluations include parent interview, teacher interview and school visit (if applicable), oral motor examination, language sample and standardized instruments measuring expressive and receptive language. A written report will be provided as well as a follow up phone call discussing recommendations.
